Hi everyone!
Wow, once again I find myself wondering about the passage of time!  It's already mid-September, so we have lots to report.  The Hamilton Farmer's Market is treating us well, with steadily increasing sales each week, last Saturday being our sixth appearance this season.  Our market lineup includes a collection of heirloom potatoes, heirloom tomatoes, onions, spinach, swiss chard, cut flowers, & cut herbs (5 basils, 2 chives, 2 thymes, rosemary, dill, catnip, orange mint, 2 oreganos, cilantro & parsley when the rabbits leave it alone).  Whew, that's alot of products.  We wanted to plant variety to see what does best...the two hail storms this year beat up the tomato vines and fruits, and knocked off the pepper flowers, arrggh.  The farm is revealing it's secrets to us, so I've been making notes and observing.  The soil is just amazing, with the root crops going to town.  I harvested 125 lbs. of assorted potatoes over the last week, which were from 3 rows.  I was happy, since I thought I got them in the ground late.  Our garlic did well, but we're saving all harvest for planting in a few weeks.  I LOVE GARLIC, HOW COULD I SELL ANY?

Much love goes out to all of you who diligently prod me for more content.  Thanks for all of your support.  I need your feedback, no matter what it is!  I've been estate gardening four days a week, and farming over long weekends.  Office stuff ends up on the bottom of the list, and then I fall asleep at the keyboard.  I'm a pretty boring date once the sun goes down   So, stay tuned for fall adventures at our farm, and I'll harass my technical guru for more pics, cuz we do have them!!

Love, Aunt Bee
