Hello friends!  I'm so happy that the days are eaking longer, and seeds are arriving! Today Iris, Hazel and I went to buy their new harnesses, which are actually yearling horse halters.  I want to hitch the girls to a sled or cart and let them move around bulky items at the farm.  Can you tell I'm anticipating the day that we get draft animals?  First, a pole barn and a camper, and then the menagerie can unfold.  I was reading an article today about heritage breed chickens...for our chicken tractor.  It is a movable chicken pen with no floor.  We will move it every few days, letting them work the ground before sowing a cover crop.

I have four more weeks here at home in Pennsylvania.  Eagerly waiting to start seeds and work at the farm every day.  It will tough to be away from Joe, but we need to appreciate the building process.  This is a lifelong project.  We will look back on these days with happiness, knowing the hard work payed off.  Here's to living your dream,
Love, Beck
